What is Oh Alaska?

"Oh Alaska" is a 7 song EP funded by FACTOR and Ontario Arts Council grants. Leighton recorded the album in The Drawing Room Studios in Windsor, ON, with the help of producer/engineer/all around good guy - Joel Bruyere. This project speaks to the intent listener, one who listens closely to the musical changes and nuances that come in considering every bit of each song. People can appreciate an effective combination of lyric and melody, and in trying to create a harmony between thoughts and emotions, Oh Alaska aims to create a sound which is both honest and memorable.
